Nundu School of Nursing

A TESTIMONY TO RESILIENCE

The school trains nurses to work in the hospital and in health centers in the Nundu Health Zone.

Health centers provide primary care and maternity care.  Complicated cases are referred to Deaconess Nundu Hospital.

Founded in 1987, the school continued despite war which impacted the region from 1996 forward.

Curriculum was updated in 2022, based on an interactive teaching method. 

There are 95 students enrolled in three classes with 14 instructors.
